7/23 - Red says, "Dude, where's my car?"

Somebody took my car from its spot right in front of the house last night! This very nice police officer is trying to find it.
These BART doors did not work, and had big yellow stickers on them saying that they were not going to open. I can’t tell you how many people stood there, staring at the stickers, waiting for the doors to open… Here is one of them. Red thinks he needs a seeing eye dog.
Elizabeth and Divya and I went for boba tea. Mine is green apple flavor with little tapioca gummy balls at the bottom. The straw is just big enough for me to sip them up along with the tea. Yum!
Hey! The very nice police officer DID find my car! Same day service!! It was a few blocks away from the house and would not turn off, but otherwise it was in good shape. Nothing was taken, and it still had a full tank of gas. (So much for the flaming Bonnie & Clydie blowout I hoped it was having.) Hopefully, the mechanic will have a nice cheap fix for it tomorrow.

6/08 - Police Car does the math

Usually, the police make the bad guys line up.  Today, Police Car got in the line-up with the fire engines.  That’s a good line-up!
The sign said “5 Star Parking,” but Police Car only has 3 stars on him.  How many stars does he need to park in that lot?
They threw these monkeys a tea party to celebrate the queen’s jubilee.   I guess going crazy for cupcakes is a universal (multiversal?) thing.

4/10 - Spring break doggie tea party

I was wishing I could spend some of the kids' spring break at home, but being out with an ear infection and pink eye wasn't exactly what I had in mind...  Still, Lil' Gal and I had fun having a tea party, for doggies only.
This ficus tree was not doing well, so I pruned him way back.  Lil' Guy asked me, "Where is his head?"  I explained that plants don't have heads, but the ficus *did* look somewhat decapitated.  So Lil' Guy offered up a ball, and suddenly the ficus looks much happier.  Please wish him well.  (And me too, before I consider decapitation as an option.)

9/17 - Surprise! A birthday tea party!

Here they are, all of your best friends, ready to throw you a surprise tea party.  How fun is that?  Watch out for Warthog, though.  His manners aren't so good.
Lil' Gal took this picture of the puzzle she did by herself (within a train track).
Lil' Guy took this picture of his tiny friends.
I took this picture of the goblin (gnome) that Lil' Guy is happy to see every day on his walk to school.

7/01 - Outdoor tea party with friends

Today, Kevin and Vanessa came over to play.  It was a hot day, and we found a nice shady spot under the plum tree that was perfect for a tea party.
And! We spotted two plums!  (That's one more fruit than the nectarine tree is sporting, for those of you keeping score at home.)
We also enjoyed my 4th of July cupcakes.  NOM!

5/25 - Snoopy gets kidnapped by a Robot Whirlybird

Snoopy and his Snoopy posse had some big adventures today.  First, Snoopy and a monkey friend were kidnapped by a Robot Whirlybird (formerly known as Condor, actually an Easter duck from Rosemary).
After that ordeal, Snoopy and his gang had a lovely tea party.  (The monkey was not invited, nor was the Whirlybird.)
Lovely, that is, until Blue Bear started sneezing loudly and NOT covering his sneezes.  Well.  Then all the Snoopies started sneezing all over each other and the next thing you knew, everybody was sick.  Bippy (Lil' Guy's blanket pal) was kind enough to tuck everyone in for a nap.  And they were all better by dinner time.
The end.
