4/16 - Stunt Team #03 locks up the win

We walked right by a line of nine locks.

4/15 - Stunt Team #03 sees quadruple

Yuliya lent Stunt Team #03 a mirror so he could check for spots that needed polishing, and he saw 4 of himself!  One for each wheel.  Vroom vroom vroom vroom!

11/29 - Gold Camaro counts it up

It must be getting close to the new year.  Here, Gold Camaro poses with a fancy number.  Do you know what it is?

At lunch time, Gold Camaro goes with me and Gio to eat big salads.

“You must cut up your salad,” says Gio.

“But I can’t.  I don’t have a knife,” I say.

“Then don’t do it,” says Gio.

Gold Camaro then decides he doesn’t want to be in the big salad club with us.  Can’t say I blame him!

10/19 - Big Wheel and the pigshark bikeplane

Big Wheel wanted to take a turn on the scooters, but the other wheels said no, so we counted the numbers on the sidewalk instead.

No idea what this contraption was on top of the bus stop, but Big Wheel wanted a picture with it!

Big Wheel found a flying witch dog, which cackled as it flew by.  “Tee hee hee heee….”

8/28 - Fly Guy gets caught in a web

We slowed and stopped as the signs requested, but Fly Guy still got stuck in the big orange web.  Don’t worry – I got him out.

Later, Fly Guy took a number.  Turns out his number was the same as Lil' Gal's classroom number --  23!

7/30 - Little Lego Dog wants a package

She couldn’t understand why there would be three FedEx trucks and yet no packages for a little doggie.

Little Lego Dog loves numbers.  She practiced her counting on the elevator.  One bark for 1, two barks for 2, three barks for 3…  (The other people in the elevator might have been angry, but she had such a tiny little bark, they barely heard her.)

7/11 - Funbo finds a sign of the times

This is usually a “Next Bus” computer sign that tells people when the next bus will arrive. I guess it is broken...

At lunch, Funbo went motorcycle counting. How many do you see? Which one is your favorite? Do you recognize any of the parking space numbers on the ground?

I had to sit out today's derby practice (and last night's scrimmage) due to an injury from Monday's practice. Still, I felt bad for the grrrls that had to skate in the 103-degree heat, so I brought orange slices. Here's Mandaryn Crush enjoying her mandarin.

6/01 - Old Yeller wants to ride the rails

And then it was a day with lots going on...  Yay weekend!

4/30 - Dorothy the Dinosaur counts 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 fire vehicles

Excellent counting, Dorothy!

I couldn’t decide what I wanted for lunch, so I walked around until I figured it out – noodles!  I am silly because I order crispy noodles, but then I won’t eat them until they are no longer crispy.  I just like my noodles on the noodley side, that's all.

11/17 - Ping's pretend window

Here, Ping tries to blend in with red van #26.  Quick!  What numbers are these? 26

I liked this pretend window at the lunch place, so I made Ping pose in front of it.

I wish I had a pretend window.  Whenever I opened it up, it would look out on whatever place I wanted.

10/19 - Big Bird is out and about

Big Bird and I saw lots of things as we took a short wander at lunch:

9/22 - Dad Pteranodon, if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again.

Dad Pteranodon tried to make a call, but couldn’t reach the 9 for an outside line, or the 0 to reach the operator because he was tangled up in the phone cord.  Whoopsie.

Mommy, what’s a phone cord? 

Is it only offices that still use phones with cords these days?

Dad Pteranodon wanted fish for lunch, but the well was dry. This fountain (if it worked) features water coming out of the bear’s mouth and draining on to an octopus.  Dad Pteranodon says, "What kind of zoo IS this?"

7/13 - Lizzie finds a good camouflage spot

Nobody will find her on this parking meter!

5/26 - Sick Mommy is sick

Today is a very boring day, photo-wise.  I'm sorry.  For our 1-week anniversary, this cold has presented me with a budding sinus infection.  Awww.  So romantic.

Lil' Guy gave me the other Snoopy to keep me company while the twins went to pre-school.  I ended up doing some work stuff and we never did anything photo-worthy.  He did help me remember that I needed to order more Flu Buster.  (That and Lung Tonic helped me come back from multiple rounds of bronchitis last year, BTW).

Then I took a nap for four years and it was suddenly bedtime.

Twitter suggests I follow the CDC.  A slight hint, perhaps?

5/18 - Tiny Red Dinosaur prowls the Austin suburbs

We are trying to help Grandmother find a new house.  Rawr!!!

We had veggie burgers for lunch with David. Who knows what number our order was?

5/16 - Doggie does the math

Doggie is sad that Mae has a cold.*  He sends orange juice to make her feel better.  And he says "Woof woof!" to Jackie.  (Doggie does not like the sniffling that comes from colds.  It is a waste of a perfectly good nose.)

He sure liked jumping on all the numbers on my calculator.  Which ones do you know?

* I do not want that cold!!

5/12 - Pirate Duckie gets steamed

We saw workers using a mini steamroller this morning.  How cute!!

Later, Pirate Duckie found treasure! We saw pretty flowers and some great numbers while we were at lunch.  We also ran into THE MINK! (not pictured), who we knew was in town but did not expect to see her casually having a sandwich at our cafe.

(Blogger!  What was all of that outage nonsense??!)

4/21 - Stegosaurus is flying high

Look at the fancy number* of the day Stegosaurus found!

The 2 tiny pirates Shelley gave me fainted with fright when they saw Stego. She sniffed them and found them to be quite stinky indeed!

4/18 - Space Guy finds the number of yesterday. And a puddle.

We found this number by the motorcycle parking.  Space Guy* wanted to go for a ride, but he couldn't reach the pedals -- or the handlebars!

Later, he visited the Planet of Giant Food.  "They have broccoli here that's as big as a tree!  And pita bread as big as a car!"

* Not sure what Space Guy's real name is, but he comes from the Fisher Price Imaginext Space Shuttle.  So does Alienist.

4/11 - Tiger the Lion seeks guidance

He did not like the answer the Magic 8 ball gave him.  Roar!!!
