12/14 - Koopa and the amazing talking curry

There was something about the JapaCurry truck that called to us today… Pumpkin croquette, get in my belly!  NOM!

Sadly, the cupcake truck drove away before we could get any dessert.

5/29 - Koopa Troopa is sad that Mommy's phone will not send pictures today

I will have to show you the pictures on the phone when I get home.  :(

Here is Koopa Troopa with a nice SF postcard featuring the Bay Bridge (and an orange? Or is that an Angry Bird?).

Koopa Troopa was feeling shy without his shell, so I took him to Shell Corner (who knew?), where he tried on a new one. Doesn't that look nice?

5/15 - Sparrow considers a career change

First, Sparrow tried to get Raj to be a pirate, so he could be a pirate parrot.

Then, he wanted to be Koopa Troopa’s pet parrot.  Silly Sparrow!

When the parrot idea didn’t work out, Sparrow tried to be a woodpecker.  But when it hurt his beak, he decided it was just fine to be a Sparrow after all.  The end.

2/09 - Koopa Troopa and the froyo bloopa

I’d been working busily away all day, only to realize it was 3pm and I hadn’t taken a break.  (Or let Koopa Troopa have any fun – bad Mommy!)  My plan was to take a little walk and grab a frozen yogurt to take back to my desk.

We walked to the top of the hill and found a lovely view.  On the way down the hill, I put Koopa Troopa on a pedestal, and made him the center of attention (or an asterisk of some sort).

Then, it was froyo time.  Only…  the frozen yogurt shop was closed!  It’s going to be some other kind of food place in the future, but that did not help me today.  :(  At least we got some fresh air.

1/23 - Dragon says "Happy New Year" to Koopa Troopa

Koopa Troopa saw the service dog’s uniform and knew not bother him because he was working.  Good boy, Koopa Troopa!

Don’t worry – this is not a scary dragon.  He is happy that it’s Chinese New Year and wants to invite Koopa Troopa to eat moon cakes.

Birthday Party Update:  I survived, despite having the power go out in the midst of my first foray into fondant.   My helpers and I pulled off a great party (thank you!!!), and the twins and their friends had a great time.  Once I wade through all the photos we took, I'll put together a special post so you can be very impressed.  (Or have photographic evidence of my insanity.)
