4/23 - Bat Ring and I spy some silly things at lunch

The first is a dangerous potty.  It must be dangerous, otherwise why would it need a guard?

The second was a new restaurant called Skewers, where they grill shisk-a-bobs.  But apparently not very well…  Looks like they had a kitchen fire before anybody even heard about them.

And finally, we saw signs saying that the Transamerica Building was now open!  New tourist site!  Bat Ring and I were excited at the thought of going to the tippity top and looking around the city, but what was open was actually a gift shop.  It did show videos about the Transamerica Building and the views from way up high, but we didn’t have time to watch them today.  Here, Bat Ring pretends he flew to the top.

7/25 - Snoopy wants to eat the watermelon flowers

I don’t think these flowers are actually slices of watermelon, but Snoopy thought they looked refreshing. Olga the security guard was watching us, so Snoopy didn’t try biting one. Good dog.

We learned today that Snoopy does not like tomatoes. It has been a day full of meetings. I’ve been sitting at my desk all day. I was worried that Snoopy would be bored, but when I looked in my bag for something, I found Doggie with Frisbee in there! The two of them have been running around my desk playing tag. Good dogs.

7/03 - Eggyface appreciates art

This painting is in the lobby of my work building. Eggyface thought it might a painting of a famous egg, but Olga (the security guard) was on her rounds so we couldn’t ask.

Eggyface was so happy to find these bouncy rubber band balls. They started boinging all over the place. (Not really, but wouldn’t that have been fun?)

3/13 - Jeanette is as pretty as a spring flower

It’s a rainy day in the City. Jeanette is pretending to ride the cable car, and I am pretending to hold an umbrella while taking a picture – hard to do!

This big flower display is at the front desk of my building.  Olga the security guard was very amused as I tried to get the flash setting right for this picture.

1/25 - Helen peeks out

(Note for blog fans:  "Helen" is really Walden.  Lil' Guy and I pretend he is Helen from the show "Martha Speaks.")

Since we thought Helen looked so silly peeking out of my bag, I thought I'd take her picture like that.  Nobody on the train seemed to notice her, but I showed her to Rodney (security guard) and he laughed.  Now she's sitting at my desk, watching me drink my coffee.

Lil' Guy and Lil' Gal (aka the Chipmunks) really wanted to come to work with me today, but they didn't fit in my bag. Lil' Guy had the brilliant idea to take their Xmas photo from the fridge, "I know how we can fit!" I told him I have this photo at my desk and look at it all the time.  Helen wanted to hug it, so I let her.

1/20 - Piglet finds security

Piglet swam to the top of the UAT Plan whirlpool.  (Wish I could say the same for me.)  What a Very Brave Piglet!

Remember how I told you my building has security guards?  This is Rodney.  He and Cliff are my favorite security guards.  :)
