8/01 - Army Guy 2 finds the shoes too casual

Army Guy 2 turns out to be a lousy bowler.  I am not much better, but having those bumpers really helped. Thanks to Mama and the twins for inviting us along on their fun day!

7/31 - Army Guy 2 has no patience for fog

He shoves it aside like it’s just a big cloud.  Whoosh.

7/30 - Army Guy 2 is in the moment

Or, I should say, he is pointing to the moment.  How can you be in the moment if it drives away before you can board?

Or, as David noted:  "I guess the moment passed him by…"  I hate it when that happens.

7/29 - Army Guy 2 calls for help

Army Guy 2 and I had six (6) meetings yesterday.   Army Guy 2 tried to order the phone headset back to base, but it wouldn’t go.  Harumph.

7/25 - Army Guy loses appeal

Army Guy was inspired by this sign to dream big.  So he did.

Unfortunately, he was so busy dreaming big dreams, he did not notice the big banana peel in his path… Whoa!!

7/24 - Army Guy is a world traveler

See how he can just hop from world to world?  That is a handy trick!

7/23 - Good thing Army Guy isn't a vampire

We had a farewell lunch for Sonali, who is going back to India to have her first baby.  Looks like the restaurant uses quite a bit of garlic.  Vampires beware!

7/22 - Army Guy finds it shocking

3/15 - Shamrocks and scooters

No glamorous work photos today, either.  I spent most of the day asleep and Army Guy seems to have gone AWOL, no doubt on a special mission to avoid my camera.

Tomorrow, the twins and I will (hopefully) scooter and skate in the St. Patrick's Day parade.  We got their scooters all shamrocked up.

3/14 - Army Guy sicks it up

So, sick sucks, yo.  I'd been wanting to catch up on my sleep, but not by being felled like a tree.  A gooey, sniffling, tree.  There's not much for toys to do on a sick day, unfortunately.

And here is a picture of the baby pepper seeds we planted the other weekend.  If we get some baby peppers of our own, Lil' Guy will be very happy.

3/13 - Army Guy finds it taxing

Had my tax appointment today, and Army Guy felt he should help clean up the place.

We also found this very cool steampunk water valve (?) nearby.

3/12 - Army Guy looks for primary colors

He found BLUE (a fresh coat, even) on this fire hydrant.

Then he tried to put out this YELLOW fire.

We meant to look for RED, but then thought my alleged sinus issue from this morning might be a cold, so we decided to rest instead.  (I am not getting sick.  I am not getting sick.  I am not getting sick.)

3/11 - Army Guy pets a catfish

Or is it a cat with fish whiskers?  A walrus?  A tiger in a Halloween costume?

Here, Army Guy scanned the flower stand.  The way these daisies were arranged in color-coded order pleased him very much.  Army Guy likes it tidy.

And then, we had dinner with Dana!  We haven't seen her since high school!  Doesn't she look good?  She likes to take pictures with her friend Kermit, but forgot to bring him to the restaurant!  Argh!

2/22 - Army Guy scoots along

Army Guy liked the army green color of this scooter, whose name was Buddy. (It said so, right on his side.)

Army Guy finds more green.  This was not a happy green.  Remember the sick iPod screen from yesterday?  It must have been contagious!  My poor computer.

2/14 - Army Guy wants to know who put flowers in the trenches

He says, “Every time I turn around, there’s another mess to clean up!  What is this, some kind of holiday?”

Army Guy says "Shello?"  Not sure what kind of creature is on the other end of the line…

2/13 - Army Guy sweeps the blue sector

He had a handle on this project, sweeping every single little blue square by hand.  Good job, Army Guy!

Army Guy gets out once in a blue moon.  OK, this wasn’t really a moon.  It’s a blue circle on the floor in the stairwell to help with fire drills.  Don’t wig out.

I don’t know what kind of car these fancy ones were, but everyone was taking pictures of them, so we did too!
