5/29 - Speed Racer #11 joins the circus (and some sad news)

He isn’t bendy like this performer, so he signed up to drive around and around in the big metal ball.

We saw this cool mural last night.  Speed Racer #11 thought it was for the birds.

We are very sad to announce that Herbert the hermit crab is no longer with us.  We wish him lots of juicy grapes, climbing structures, and a play area with many opportunities for escape. RIP, Herbert.  You kept us on our toes.

5/28 - Speed Racer #11 has flashy friends

Here we are on BART with Beckie and Ry!  Bye, friends.  :(

We liked this bike because it had the same colors as Lil' Gal's new car, but Speed Racer #11 was way faster. (The bike lock helped a lot with that…)

5/03 - Dinoco beats the roadrunner!

I forgot to bring Mario’s head/Luigi’s body!  I’m so sorry!!

Dinoco was in the van and said he’d be happy to be my toy friend today.  He zoomed so fast, that he passed the BART roadrunner!  Vroom!!

4/19 - Punchbuggy Rainbow

I forgot to bring Stunt Team #03 with me today!  I am without a toy!!  :(  #Mommyfail

I did see this zippy little car driving around…  The rest of my day was all meetings.  Boo!

4/18 - Stunt Team #03 says "It's not an adventure until somebody bleeds."

Today, Jeanine and I spent our lunch hour giving blood to the blood bank.  It was a good adventure for a good cause.  And!  Free cookies!

4/17 - Stunt Team #03 says, "There's no place like home."

You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile

You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife

Or you might just go back to work with your small toy car.

4/16 - Stunt Team #03 locks up the win

We walked right by a line of nine locks.

4/15 - Stunt Team #03 sees quadruple

Yuliya lent Stunt Team #03 a mirror so he could check for spots that needed polishing, and he saw 4 of himself!  One for each wheel.  Vroom vroom vroom vroom!

1/02 - Francesco likes it spicy (and we get pets!)

Happy New Year!  May lucky 2013 bring you all the happy healthy hopeful you can eat.

Francesco started off the new year with me at work.  He liked that the spice sauce jars at lunch were the national colors of Italy – red and green. (We'll count the table as white, for those of you particular about naming all of the flag colors.  David.)

Who says Segways are only personal transporters for humans?

While I was at work, the twins were at Science Camp, inventing away.  What cute and functional robots they made!

After camp, we hit the pet store, where Lil' Guy and Lil' Gal became the proud new owners of two very fancy hermit crabs, named Sheldon and Herbert.

9/12 - Race Car #8 hits Chinatown

No, not literally.  Literarily!

Here, Dolphin practices jumping through hoops.  Maybe he can teach me to do it more gracefully…

9/10 - Race Car #8 crosses the double line for a kiss

I’ve heard of an eye in the sky, but lips?

Later, Dolphin tried race car surfing.  He was dolphinately good at it!  Wheeee!

7/25 - Cap'n Hook turns fashion police

Cap'n Hook was in charge of today's shopping expedition.  Avast!  Gather up ye keys, gums, and lists!

We were in search of shorts and warm-weather tops for my impending trip to Austin to help Grandmother unpack her new house.  Looks like the Cap'n approves of my selections.

David sent us this picture of his race car running a wee bit off course.

The twins enjoyed yesterday's family bike ride so much that they asked for another ride non-stop today.  Mama and I had to get ourselves geared up (heh) for it, but it was well worth the effort.
