Summer Vacation 2013: Country Fair Time

We do love us a country fair.  So off we went!

They had me at pig races... (which also featured bonus weiner dogs dressed in hot dog costumes!)

We looked at animals...  These must be part of the Sheep Witness Protection ProgrAAAAm.

 Um. Nice?

We saw all kinds of vehicles and "rode" tractors...

There was digger dancing...  Oh, yes.  You heard me.

Yep.  We had a grand old time.

7/22 - Army Guy finds it shocking

6/03 - Dad Alien's new vice

This was on the back of a pick-up truck.  Pretty snazzy, eh?

The last time you twins saw Alan (or his husband Will), you were two years old!! It felt like it had been that long since he and I had lunch, so we decided to do something about it.

5/22 - Beeper is not at all pleased

Beeper and I found this when we popped up from BART.  Our entrance/exit was blocked off.  And then the alternate exit/entrance had a broken escalator and a really smelly stairwell.  Beeper started to say some bad words, but happily, they all sounded like beeps.

Not sure what these tanks were on the back of a truck, but they looked neat.

3/22 - Blue Monster Truck plays chicken

Blue Monster Truck wanted to race with this yellow car, but it had to take The Man to work.

Then, he tried to play chicken with a basket of roosters, but that didn't go so well either.

At least, the Shoe Wiz was happy to get a ride.  (Although... why wouldn't he use his magic to make flying shoes?)

2/08 - Green Walrus says, "What do you mean, I look like a breakfast bar?!"

Don’t worry.  Even though I was hungry, I did not eat him for breakfast.  Or for lunch.

I have no idea what kind of truck this is, but neither Green Walrus nor I wanted to stand behind it!

We *did* want to stand next to Rohith and the giant ice cream cone he wears on his shoulder.  :)

1/14 - Beaver Creature Power Disk, now with super invisible Mommy power

Ghostie thought these canisters in the back of a truck looked like ghosty friends.  He wanted to go for a ride with them, but we were already late for work. And we do not get into vehicles with strangers.  Silly Ghostie.

Lil' Guy gave me this power disk, which gives me Super Mommy Powers.   (Bwahahaha!) It can also make me invisible, which I thought would be good for avoiding meetings.  And look!  I think it works!  Here I am in my desk chair – can you see me?

10/26 - Python Truck in Candyland

We had a team lunch at a restaurant.  Jeanine thought Python Truck might want a bath – er, car wash –in my water glass.  I thought he might not.  (I was right.)

First, Python Truck went off-roading on a bumpy trail where the boulders were actually lollipops!

Then, he couldn’t decide which cupcake to use for a trampoline.

Finally, he brought over two lollipops (one at a time) for me to bring home to you.  :)
