4/01 - Oh, no! I lost Goldie!!

I thought she was in my bag, but now I think I left her at one of my errands!  I am soooo sorry!

APRIL FOOL!!

Goldie’s fine.    She was with me all along.  :)

Poor Peggy is not fine, though.  She sprained her ankle and has to wear a boot that looks just like mine did.

3/06 - RIP, FitBit

I guess this FitBit couldn't keep up with me and my busy working mom lifestyle.  It plum wore out.

Donkey Kong decided to wear it as a bandolier instead.  It kinda works!  (Now that I know the name for that thing, I want one to hold my cell phones and wireless mouse when I go to meetings.)

2/05 - Thomas and the cast of one

Tonight we got to take David out for a belated birthday dinner and sign his cast.  Which was quite complicated with a ballpoint pen, but we do what we can with what we have on hand.  (Which, for David, was a cast.)

1/23 - Swamp Buggy gets a-wheelin'

The van is acting up, so Swamp Buggy and I are biking to/from BART.
(And we thought we were through with BART with the new job!  Argh!!)

1/03 - Santa Monkey doesn't like these earbuds either

Of course, it’s asking a lot of earbuds to stay in your ears for an hour while you’re waiting to ask your potential healthcare provider a question.

Guess I should go with the one that keeps hanging up on me? 

12/10 - Shoveling Snowman knows something's afoot

We went to the foot doctor today.  He says my foot is doing well, but it is still heeling (ha!).

Shoveling Snowman was very interested in how feet work, especially because he does not have any!

We also got to have dinner with the lovely Ashley, who is always such a good sport about these photos.  :)

12/05 - Dodo has a fire in his belly

We were hungry, but new work fancy phone wanted an upgrade.  Dodo and I liked the graphic it showed during the upgrade.

Then we tried to get a sandwich from the place across the street, and ordered well ahead of our 1pm meeting. Only too bad for us, because the sandwich place had a system crash and lost our order.  Only they didn't tell us this until we asked a second time for status -- after waiting 40 minutes!  Then there was apparently no way to get anything right away but soup, which was on the house.

Ah, well.  At least we got to introduce ourselves to the vending machines.

11/19 - Guess I lost my head a bit

I guess if you find yourself down a job and up a foot injury, one might let one's blog grow a cobweb or two.  Whoopsie.  Anyone still here?  Hello?

Let's pretend that I *will* post the pix I've been taking but didn't post because the blog wasn't caught up, and just take it from here, shall we?  Soon enough we shall have more work pix, fret not.

Today's big activities were walking on two feet in slippers (!) and getting my hair cut.  Suction Hero came with me.  Note: This is not my actual head/haircut.

7/21 - Weekend fun: Not all a bunch of bunk

This weekend we learned why Mommy is always saying not to jump on the bed...

We also talked her in to getting us bunk beds, which she assembled solo and only lost her mind about 5 times.

We were also in a happy mood and scrubbed a lot of the house!

And we had a lot of fun at Mikey's birthday party.

5/31 - Propeller is stuck (and some happy news)

BART was having problems this morning.  We had to wait 25 minutes for a train, and then they sent us one that was only 4 cars long!  We couldn’t even get on the train.  When we did, about 10 minutes later, it was slow and had to stop a lot of times.  Oh, BART.

Propeller thought some water would be nice on a hot day.  We thought this fountain looked like Propeller’s cousin, water type.

We've got crabs!  Lil' Gal needed a replacement for Herbert (RIP) and Lil' Guy had to have a new crab for parity, so I have adopted Sheldon.  The new crabs are zippy!  And Lil' Gal's (red shell) escaped his cage the very first night.  We may call him (her?) Houdini!

5/22 - Beeper is not at all pleased

Beeper and I found this when we popped up from BART.  Our entrance/exit was blocked off.  And then the alternate exit/entrance had a broken escalator and a really smelly stairwell.  Beeper started to say some bad words, but happily, they all sounded like beeps.

Not sure what these tanks were on the back of a truck, but they looked neat.

3/21 - Max and Ferdinand learn about the six degrees of Star Wars

Look what our friends found for Lil' Guy!  A lovely diagram of how everyone in Star Wars is connected to each other.

Although it tends to raise more questions than it answers.  Like just what kind of relationship is "other" anyway?  And why so many significant battles?  Can't we all just get along?  What is wrong with this family? Sheesh.

3/20 - Max and Ferdinand wish you a happy spring (and safe driving)

The nectarine tree is starting to bloom.  These blossoms don't smell as lovely as the plum tree's, but they sure are pretty!  If only the squirrels would leave us some nectarines...

Looks like Mr. Frumble is having trouble getting out of the BART parking lot again.  #ouch

2/25 - Green Piggie finds an angry computer

Or maybe it was me that was green with a case of the Mondays…  One of these days, I really should call the help desk.

Here, Green Piggie curls up in Buddha's lap.  Sounds like one of the best nap spots on heaven or earth… (I didn’t realize that Buddha had a man parrot on his shoulder!)

2/22 - Army Guy scoots along

Army Guy liked the army green color of this scooter, whose name was Buddy. (It said so, right on his side.)

Army Guy finds more green.  This was not a happy green.  Remember the sick iPod screen from yesterday?  It must have been contagious!  My poor computer.

2/21 - Doggie Flashlight is a photobomber

These guys were taking a picture of a sick iPad with a green screen. Doggie Flashlight wanted to take a picture of them taking their picture.  So we did.

He thought he was camouflaged on this spotted tissue box. Do you think he is?  (I don’t, but he gets an A for effort.)

2/15 - Bowser's Head advises caution

If the blinky light and orange sawhorse don’t get your attention, Bowser’s growl certainly will!  Look out!!!

2/04 - Stunt Team #03 finds a green buddy

(Did you miss us?  We took a long weekend and went to spend Grandmother's birthday with her.  More to come on that...)

Unfortunately, the green buddy was my computer screen and it was not at all happy.  Nobody wants a queasy computer.  Beckie found it amusing that the toy today was a car and the error message was about a driver failure.

1/29 - Rhino is a pedal pusher

Today, Rhino and I kept Mama company when she went to get a minor surgery.  (Mama declined to be photographed.)  Rhino found these pedal pictures amusing.

Now we are busy packing for our trip to see Grandmother for her birthday.  Speaking of birthdays, happy birthday to David!!
