2/11 - Pinkie Pie calls a Heroes of the World meeting

Yes, of course Pinkie Pie is a hero! Not only because of her Pinkie Sense, but because she brings yummy treats to meetings!  That makes her a hero in my book.  :)

She was also very brave when we met this fierce fellow.  Pinkie Pie cooed at him and tamed him right away.

I'd much rather talk about my kids' toys, but here are seven things you might not know about me.

1. I can correctly identify *and* sing along to 8 or 9 of 10 polka songs, and I don’t know why.
2. I am a roller derby grrrl.
3. I resent fruit for pretending it’s so easy to eat, when it actually requires all kinds of washing, peeling, and chopping to turn it into nice little bites.
4. I have never skied, eaten a biscotti, or watched Saturday Night Fever.
5. Robin Williams once cut me off and took the parking spot I wanted.
6. Tall ships make me swoon. In a dreamy schoolgirl crush kinda way.
7. I am not really left-handed.

11/01 - Asher Fire Hero #4 likes high speed and voltage

Asher and I found a cute vintage motorcycle near one of our favorite lunch places.  He wanted to fire it up and ride it up the steep city hills, but we could not find the keys.

 Then, we found a Very Important Door.  Look at all the warning signs!  There is a apparently a lot of electricity behind it.  Asher wanted to go in and get charged up, but we couldn’t find the key for that either.

Now, let the staycation begin!  Mama is off on a trip, so I'm taking time off from work to play with the kids for the next week.  And! We have a special guest on the way...  Stay tuned.

11/08 - Twins and their toys

The twins lined up their Madagascar penguins, superheroes, and rhinos with the pink chair and were so excited.  "Look how cute they are!  Mommy, take a picture!"  So I did.
