1/23 - Swamp Buggy gets a-wheelin'

The van is acting up, so Swamp Buggy and I are biking to/from BART.
(And we thought we were through with BART with the new job!  Argh!!)

5/28 - Speed Racer #11 has flashy friends

Here we are on BART with Beckie and Ry!  Bye, friends.  :(

We liked this bike because it had the same colors as Lil' Gal's new car, but Speed Racer #11 was way faster. (The bike lock helped a lot with that…)

5/13 - Plate of Carrots and the terrible vegetable slaughter

I took Plate of Carrots to the salad bar with me to see if we could find some veggie friends, but I guess that’s like taking a pet pig to a sausage factory.  Sorry, POC!

4/10 - Witchy Poo goes for a spin

She liked this all white bike and thought she’d take it for a 7 mile ride across the city.

Then she tried to dance with the beautiful ballerina, but didn’t want to get too near, for fear she’d be kicked in the ear.

2/28 - Green Piggie cannot reach the pedals

Still, it was a very nice bike.

Green Piggie found some street wisdom...  Something we should all strive for, especially when there are angry birds determined to topple us.

1/15 - Creature Power Disk and Ghostie like it organized

Creature Power Ghostie found a basket full of flowers.  A bike basket, that is.  How pretty! Best basket case I’ve seen in a while.

We found someone’s to-do list at lunch time.  The first item should have been “don’t lose to-do list…”

9/30 - Weekend fun: Large mouse edition

The highlight of last weekend was Archer's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.  Lil' Gal had been begging to go there for.ever.  I hadn't ever been to one with kids (those crazy college days).  So the day had finally come for those two milestones to line up.  The kids had a great time with their BFFs.  I got to follow a large mouse around in a conga line and talk to some adults.  #winning

We also had fun wearing old Halloween costumes around the house.

And riding bikes/skating at the basketball court of the nearby school.  Until we melted.

6/21 - Yoshi learns a wheelie important lesson

Another one of those ice cream ads, this time with banana boats. (Lots of banana commentary today, for some reason.)

5/28 - Weekend fun - Wheels edition

Lil' Gal decorated the nectarine tree for Memorial Day.

We made a Tinkertoy robot bird and found Goomba in the Tinkertoy bin.

We made grilled cheese sandwiches.

We learned to ride our bikes without training wheels!  And I got to chase the kids on my new skate wheels.

Also, we had an impromptu barbecue and Lil' Gal has more "wobbly teeth."  Hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend, too!

4/26 - Yellow Head meets the Bacon Man

Yellow Head and the giant purple rain drops...  OK, these were not really rain drops.  (Thank goodness!)  We had a team lunch at a place with lots of pretty glass decorations.  These were hanging like a curtain.

Apparently, Bacon Man and his friend Eggy are farmers…?

And then, tragedy struck.  You'll note that Yellow Head clearly has a head in the photo above.  Yet, when I pulled him out of my pocket at work... gulp... Somehow his head was missing.  I ran outside, retracting my steps... Nothing.  Poor Yellow Head.  My only hope is that I find another yellow head in the Lego bin when I get home, without Lil' Gal noticing.  In the meantime, here is headless Yellow Head, (not) looking at a bunch of bikes.

3/27 - Sad bikes in the rain

Rainy days are not so fun for bikes.  Or Mommy, whose umbrella turned inside out 5 times on the way to the old work (and back) to wish Ron a happy retirement.  At least the cake was good!

2/08 - Carrot thinks you are beautiful

Orange Carrot met Pink Flamingo, Yellow Cab and Yellow Crane on a colorful lunchtime walk.

7/25 - Cap'n Hook turns fashion police

Cap'n Hook was in charge of today's shopping expedition.  Avast!  Gather up ye keys, gums, and lists!

We were in search of shorts and warm-weather tops for my impending trip to Austin to help Grandmother unpack her new house.  Looks like the Cap'n approves of my selections.

David sent us this picture of his race car running a wee bit off course.

The twins enjoyed yesterday's family bike ride so much that they asked for another ride non-stop today.  Mama and I had to get ourselves geared up (heh) for it, but it was well worth the effort.

10/20 - CowCow sees a squid

Look at the poster we saw...  it's an ocean diver taking BART!  And he has a big squid on his shoulder.  How silly is that?  (I guess not that much sillier than taking a cow to work...)

At lunch, we found twin bikes!  We wondered if their riders were twins as well.  (No -- one is Michael's, and he is not a twin.)

3/15 - Vroom!

No work for me today!  I'm holding down the fort while Mama makes her way back from the rainy east coast.  My weekend of single parenting went pretty well, considering I still have bronchial issues and we had a time change.

Here are Lil' Gal and Lil' Guy pretending they're "biker guys."  Yes, those are motorcycles there.  Vroom!
