1/29 - Bullseye takes art class with Frog and Toad

They told him art takes a steady hand.  (Bulleye does not have hands!)
They told him art takes a clear head.  (Bulleye can do this!)
They told him art sometimes requires sweat and tears.  (This will make Bullseye rusty!)

Bullseye decided he would rather look at art instead.  Smart Bullseye.

1/23 - Swamp Buggy gets a-wheelin'

The van is acting up, so Swamp Buggy and I are biking to/from BART.
(And we thought we were through with BART with the new job!  Argh!!)

7/01 - Fergus and the action items

Fergus is in a meeting and his friends keep asking him to play.  He had to put the line on mute so the other people in the meeting didn’t hear all the noise.  Poor Fergus.

(I am working from home due to BART strike, so I was able to suspend the "toy must fit in my bag" rule.)

6/28 - Alien Gremlin wonders about Wonder Ice Cream

Wonder Bread does not have much wonder in it, but we'd hold ice cream to higher standards, right?

Gremlin Alien also enjoyed a free lunch (thanks, Raj!)...

... and did *not* enjoy the free cockroach twice his size (thanks, BART!).

The twins wondered what kind of spider this was at Mama's, so we looked it up in our book.  It was a black widow!!

5/31 - Propeller is stuck (and some happy news)

BART was having problems this morning.  We had to wait 25 minutes for a train, and then they sent us one that was only 4 cars long!  We couldn’t even get on the train.  When we did, about 10 minutes later, it was slow and had to stop a lot of times.  Oh, BART.

Propeller thought some water would be nice on a hot day.  We thought this fountain looked like Propeller’s cousin, water type.

We've got crabs!  Lil' Gal needed a replacement for Herbert (RIP) and Lil' Guy had to have a new crab for parity, so I have adopted Sheldon.  The new crabs are zippy!  And Lil' Gal's (red shell) escaped his cage the very first night.  We may call him (her?) Houdini!

5/28 - Speed Racer #11 has flashy friends

Here we are on BART with Beckie and Ry!  Bye, friends.  :(

We liked this bike because it had the same colors as Lil' Gal's new car, but Speed Racer #11 was way faster. (The bike lock helped a lot with that…)

5/22 - Beeper is not at all pleased

Beeper and I found this when we popped up from BART.  Our entrance/exit was blocked off.  And then the alternate exit/entrance had a broken escalator and a really smelly stairwell.  Beeper started to say some bad words, but happily, they all sounded like beeps.

Not sure what these tanks were on the back of a truck, but they looked neat.

5/13 - Plate of Carrots and the terrible vegetable slaughter

I took Plate of Carrots to the salad bar with me to see if we could find some veggie friends, but I guess that’s like taking a pet pig to a sausage factory.  Sorry, POC!

5/07 - Kanga finds a pouch pal for Roo

Kanga and Roo saw this little guy peeking out of a pouch on BART and thought they might be able to snuggle him up. They tried, but then it was my stop, and we had to go.

5/03 - Dinoco beats the roadrunner!

I forgot to bring Mario’s head/Luigi’s body!  I’m so sorry!!

Dinoco was in the van and said he’d be happy to be my toy friend today.  He zoomed so fast, that he passed the BART roadrunner!  Vroom!!

3/20 - Max and Ferdinand wish you a happy spring (and safe driving)

The nectarine tree is starting to bloom.  These blossoms don't smell as lovely as the plum tree's, but they sure are pretty!  If only the squirrels would leave us some nectarines...

Looks like Mr. Frumble is having trouble getting out of the BART parking lot again.  #ouch

3/05 - Alienist goes cloud sailing

He wanted to tell this bird all about cloud technology, but the bird squawked and flew away in surprise.  As if he’d never seen a cloud-flying alien before.  Sheesh.

Alienist says, "I am not a moustache!" He also didn’t like being a pince-nez.  But who would?

Also, who would take their shoes off and ride all the way into the city in their sock feet?  This guy.  It's not like he didn't have shoes -- they were right there under his seat!

1/22 - Dino's friend has a headache

This poor hand truck seems to be having a bad day.

Unlike the jugglers at the BART station.  While their skills may not be improving (to the casual bystander's eye), their membership seems to be.

1/04 - Red Angry Bird finds the other renegades

Apparently, they take BART just like the rest of us.  #stealthmodefail

Red Angry Bird saw a pile of boxes on the street and before I could stop him….  BLAM!

12/07 - Fishie makes a fish wish

This morning, both escalators were out of service at the BART station, so everybody was trying to use the stairwell at the same time. Fishie told me that salmon have to swim upstream when it’s time to lay their eggs, which also sounds like a hard commute.

Can’t we all just get along?

11/26 - Gold Camaro finds a golden Christmas tree

While I was away for the long Thanksgiving weekend, someone came and sprinkled Christmas all over the city!  This is the first thing GC and I saw when we came up from the BART station.

My work building did not have a big tree, but we did have a Very Large Silver Reindeer instead.  (Lil' Gal – is this one of your friends?)

More sparkly came at dinner time, where we helped Sheila ring in her birthday week with a festive tiara.  Happy birthday!!

11/05 - SpoonyHead and David want to make a getaway

My work building’s lobby flowers were very interesting today!  SpoonyHead blended right in with them.

This happy little lemon scooter would have been a nice sunny day ride.  Except they did not have the keys.  :(

Thanks to the clock change, I got to see a pretty sunset on the way home from BART.

And I think the twins left me a little present at home.  Awwww.

10/31 - Shy Guy loves a parade

The crowds, not so much…

There were a bunch of baseball fans on BART this morning for the big World Series parade.  When we got to the city, the train operator made a comment  about the Giants and the whole train car cheered, "Wooooo!”  It was very loud, and Shy Guy and I covered our ears.

This is how crowded Market Street was at 8:30am – just after you guys went to school.  The parade didn’t even start until 11am!

Now, we’re checking in on the parade on the computer – no crowds that way.  :)

10/22 - Cloud Guy and the BART bats

There were lots of umbrellas on BART today.  Cloud Guy thought they looked like sleeping bats.

Then we got to work and had a bunch of meetings and lunch at my desk and more meetings.  By the time it occurred to us to go get some fresh air, it was time to go.  What a Monday.

At least the rain stopped long enough for the Giants to win.  And for Cloud Guy to say hello to his peeps.
