3/28 - Jewel makes Patrick blush *and* the twins steal the show

Turns out Patrick is easily embarrassed by photos and flirty chicks.

We went to see the twins in their school musical and they rocked it.  We were so proud of them!!

7/02 - Jewel becomes a baseball fan

If a MUNI bus can cheer on the local baseball team, why not a toy bird? Go, Giants!!!

Jewel thought the USPS eagle was a fine-looking feathered friend. She said, "Hello, Handsome!"

5/23 - Jewel finds another bird on BART

There was a new poster at the BART station today about a famous book called The Maltese Falcon.  Jewel flapped her wings at the falcon, but he did not flap back.

Jewel likes things that are blue.  She loved Elizabeth’s pretty blue dress.  Squawk!  (We are cooped up today – busy day!)

Speaking of blue...  It was Crazy Hair Day at the twins' school.  Lil' Gal wanted her hair to look like a unicorn horn.  Given seven minutes and a pipe cleaner, here's my McGuyver creation.

3/16 - Jewel says "All of these lovelies are MINE!"

This is the post in which I give David a Jewel. Or is it the bird?  Actually, both.  Jewel is the female blue bird from Rio, featured on this rainy day with a light-up flower “hair” accessory.  (I guess I should say “feather accessory!”)

Birds probably shouldn’t eat cupcakes, right?  (More for me!)
