10/11 - Jacks say "Ack!' There's a big quack!"

We saw a big duck statue outside somebody’s house on the train ride into work today. Quack!  (Oddly enough, David claims to have the same duck lurking in his garage.)

The Jacks wanted to eat at Jack's.  Sadly, this cute old-time restaurant is closed.

12/31 - Muckie takes a note

Lil' Gal gave me Muckie today "so he can help you type the letters on the computer," which is what she likes to do with Mama.  So here is Muckie, doing my 2010 self-review.  (Kidding!)

12/30 - Muckie is a lucky ducky

I finally broke down and used an ice scraper today on my frosty windshield.  (I had long sworn that I would not own one in CA.)  Muckie was a good helper.

My new boss took us to lunch at a fancy restaurant today.  I had beet and goat cheese ravioli and a nice salad. Also a really yummy dessert that I gobbled up before Muckie could get a photo with it.  NOM NOM NOM!!

2/17 - Duck and cover

Today was a 9-hour meeting with very few breaks.  Poor Duck looked like he wanted to do just that.

Ah, the morning fog....












At least lunch was brought in.

And we got to look out the window at the lovely sunny day that resulted after the fog burned off.  Sigh.
