8/27 - Moustacheless Mario jumps for joy at the fajita bar

Someone had a lunch meeting today, and instead of it being a meeting without lunch, it ended up being a lunch without a meeting.  How awesome is that?

"What's on the agenda today?"  "Eating free food.  Your action item is this cookie."  NOM. Check that off the list.

8/18 - Elephant hugs a tree

We had 14 meetings on this Monday and didn't get to see much of anything besides coworkers and conference rooms.  (Yes, 14. I do not recommend it.)  We did take a moment and appreciate nature, which was a small coffee tree at a coworker's desk.  Ahhh.  (Well, we couldn't figure out how to drink it.)

8/22 - Ice Bird is broke, yo

So don't ask him for anything.  (File under: odd things one finds in a conference room...)

3/06 - RIP, FitBit

I guess this FitBit couldn't keep up with me and my busy working mom lifestyle.  It plum wore out.

Donkey Kong decided to wear it as a bandolier instead.  It kinda works!  (Now that I know the name for that thing, I want one to hold my cell phones and wireless mouse when I go to meetings.)

2/24 - Pidove, take a note!

For a birdbrain, Pidove is actually pretty good at taking meeting minutes.  Of course, his handwriting looks like pigeon scratch...

2/11 - Pinkie Pie calls a Heroes of the World meeting

Yes, of course Pinkie Pie is a hero! Not only because of her Pinkie Sense, but because she brings yummy treats to meetings!  That makes her a hero in my book.  :)

She was also very brave when we met this fierce fellow.  Pinkie Pie cooed at him and tamed him right away.

2/10 - Pinkie Pie loves meetings!

Pinkie Pie was so excited about coming to one of my meetings that she drew all kinds of happy stuff about it.  Isn't she cute?

1/21 - Swamp Buggy sees stars

They were doing some kind of team photo when we came into work today and had these balloons nearby.

Then we were happy because we got a leftover cookie from someone’s lunch meeting.  NOM!

7/29 - Army Guy 2 calls for help

Army Guy 2 and I had six (6) meetings yesterday.   Army Guy 2 tried to order the phone headset back to base, but it wouldn’t go.  Harumph.

7/11 - Mousie is feeling very sleepy...

Didn’t anyone tell Mousie that poppies can make you very sleepy?  (So can long meetings!)

7/02 - Fergus wants to play

Look!  He fetched me a stick to toss.

Since he was being such a good boy, I let him type up some meeting minutes. Thanks, Fergus!

7/01 - Fergus and the action items

Fergus is in a meeting and his friends keep asking him to play.  He had to put the line on mute so the other people in the meeting didn’t hear all the noise.  Poor Fergus.

(I am working from home due to BART strike, so I was able to suspend the "toy must fit in my bag" rule.)

5/17 - Happy Ring loses her happy

Our morning started out well, with a fire truck zipping by, SF Giants flag a-flowing and the sirens a-blaring.  (You can't see it in the photo, but this is a ring with a smiley face.)

And then we had meetings and were never seen again.  :(

4/26 - Sharkie says, "Life is a beach."

We feel totally sharked by this Friday, where we have been either in meetings or working on a report all day and haven’t even made it outside once. We may be slightly cranky and gnashing our shark teeth a bit…

4/19 - Punchbuggy Rainbow

I forgot to bring Stunt Team #03 with me today!  I am without a toy!!  :(  #Mommyfail

I did see this zippy little car driving around…  The rest of my day was all meetings.  Boo!

3/28 - Miss Kitty and a big bowl of pickles

No joking here, just pickles.  They came with the lunches for the steering committee meeting, but were making the conference room too smelly.

3/27 - Miss Kitty and the Very Long Meeting

Miss Kitty found a strange bubble-popping princess on the way to our all-day offsite big meeting thing.  I was hoping we'd find coffee, which we did.  This offsite had excellent food because Jeanine is a rock star.  #thankyou

No wonder I'm sneezing like one of the seven dwarves.  Spring has sprung, yo.

1/14 - Beaver Creature Power Disk, now with super invisible Mommy power

Ghostie thought these canisters in the back of a truck looked like ghosty friends.  He wanted to go for a ride with them, but we were already late for work. And we do not get into vehicles with strangers.  Silly Ghostie.

Lil' Guy gave me this power disk, which gives me Super Mommy Powers.   (Bwahahaha!) It can also make me invisible, which I thought would be good for avoiding meetings.  And look!  I think it works!  Here I am in my desk chair – can you see me?

12/12/12 - Jeanette does some reading while I am in meetings

She’s reading the Roller Skates book David gave me.  She told this carriage to stop driving on my desk.  Plus, the horses’ clippity cloppity was disturbing my coworkers. I think Jeanette wants to be a librarian when she grows up.

What were you doing at 12:12 on 12/12/12?  I was in a meeting.  I made a wish, and no -- it was not to get out of the meeting!
