Every day, my 12th grade twins give me a toy to bring to work. I send home pictures of how the toy is "helping" me, and then save them to this blog. (OK, obviously, we are not really doing this anymore. Teenagers, amiright?) It definitely makes work more fun. For me -- I can't speak for the poor toy. Please do not use any of my images or writing without contacting me for permission.

4/23 - Bat Ring and I spy some silly things at lunch
The first is a dangerous potty. It must be dangerous, otherwise why would it need a guard?
The second was a new restaurant called Skewers, where they grill shisk-a-bobs. But apparently not very well… Looks like they had a kitchen fire before anybody even heard about them.
And finally, we saw signs saying that the Transamerica Building was now open! New tourist site! Bat Ring and I were excited at the thought of going to the tippity top and looking around the city, but what was open was actually a gift shop. It did show videos about the Transamerica Building and the views from way up high, but we didn’t have time to watch them today. Here, Bat Ring pretends he flew to the top.

1/09 - Danger's Doppelganger
Someone drew on a sticker and it looks just like Danger!
Hermit Crab Update: Last night, I gave the hermit crabs some blueberries, carrots and fresh pellets. Sheldon/Herb at some of the pellets and walked around for a little while with a blueberry stuck on one of his legs like a big bracelet. Herbert looooooved the blueberries and spent a lot time scooping out and eating one. They love you guys and can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

10/16 - Tigress will comply
We saw this very serious warning on a big construction truck that hangs up signs. It tells us not to play with wires or electricity. Tigress said OK!
Across the street, we saw all the big letters that the truck will be hanging up. Hopefully they will not still be upside down and backwards once they are up!

10/15 - Tigress growls, "Stand back! Wait your turn!"
The BART escalator was broken this morning (again!), and people were getting impatient waiting to go up the single-file staircase. Good thing Tigress was there to keep everyone in order.
At lunch, Tigress karate chopped her way out of danger. No orange cones or upside down Caution/Cuidado tape can hold her back! Ka-POW!!

10/11/12 - Yellow Jack finds it all a blur at 8am
Between the cold medicine and the early meeting time, I had to agree. We both wondered what was so dangerous about the umbrella in front of the bank (?) that it required caution tape.* Curious.
We saw this big bouquet of yellow orchids in the lobby and Yellow Jack tried to blend in.
* David suggested the umbrella might be to protect passersby from falling objects. Turns out the falling objects were -- gasp!-- weather! We got a little bit of rain today. Protective gear totally warranted.

9/26 - Yellow Ninja studies the zen of burritos
When Yellow Ninja saw all these safety precaution signs, he went into Ninja stealth mode and disappeared from view. What a good trick.
We had a lot of meetings today. Here I am with my fancy headseton mute paying full attention to the topic at hand.
To become one with the burrito, one must find the burrito within. (burp)
