7/19 - Froggy's flock of friends

Sorry the picture turned out blurry.  :(  The penguins were friendly, though!

Froggy also made friends with a one-eyed pirate.  Yarrrribbit!

9/19 - Memorial for That Silly Doug

Froggy and I went to the memorial service for That Silly Doug today.  We all gathered at Ocean Beach on a surprisingly warm, humid day to hear stories from Doug's good friends. We left to the sound of a kilted bagpiper, standing by the base of the cliffs.

We re-gathered at the Presidio Social Club for a great party.  The only thing missing was Doug mingling, giving out hugs, and making sure people had what they needed.  And as much as we felt Doug's presence, we also keenly felt his absence.

I don't know about anyone else, but I choose to believe that Doug is on a big road trip, living life to the fullest, eating all the good local foods, driving with the top down and the wind in his hair. Never looking back, but carrying all those dear to him in his heart as he speeds along to new adventures.  Go, Diego, go.

12/22 - Mommy has the sniffles

Just in time for Christmas, it's my annual cold!  Bah.  At least Froggy was sympathetic.

Not much time to play today, what with the cold and wrapping up work stuff for my long holiday weekend.  Here's Froggy waiting for the Elevators That Never Come.

11/19 - Gettin' Froggy with it

This is marathon meeting week.  It's Thursday, and I've been to 19 meetings.  4 more tomorrow, and I can slink into my weekend like the empty husk I've become.
