4/10 - Spring break doggie tea party

I was wishing I could spend some of the kids' spring break at home, but being out with an ear infection and pink eye wasn't exactly what I had in mind...  Still, Lil' Gal and I had fun having a tea party, for doggies only.
This ficus tree was not doing well, so I pruned him way back.  Lil' Guy asked me, "Where is his head?"  I explained that plants don't have heads, but the ficus *did* look somewhat decapitated.  So Lil' Guy offered up a ball, and suddenly the ficus looks much happier.  Please wish him well.  (And me too, before I consider decapitation as an option.)

7/29 - Z and I say Zzzzzzzzzzzz

We had lunch with Toody (aka Mildred) today.  She says, "Hola!"
Later, we got a few sundries at Big Lots.  Beware the tiki!  (Don't worry -- Z was OK. It was a supervised mauling.)
Martha stopped by to check out Grandmother's new digs and really liked the new place.  She helped us find the guest towels and made a big dent in the living room boxes.  AND she has the same name as our favorite talking dog.
Here's Z hanging out in the Lamp Ghetto.
Ironically, Grandmother hates this little DIY bar, but I tricked it out with her knick-knacks anyway.
I'm declaring victory on the living room.
Dining room is soooo close.  All that's left are the hall closet and Grandmother's room.  (I consider the garage out of scope.)  I will also take full credit for making her computer almost fast enough to be considered contemporary.  And now, at 2am Austin time, I'm going to keel over.  Goodnight, moon.

7/05 - Dragon is not one bit holi-dazed

Valentine Dragon could easily attend 4 more parades in a heatwave -- what's wrong with the rest of us?
Look at my new mouse guards!  Oh.  You thought it was going to be some kind of technical gadget?  Nope.  Just my friends Cheetah and Martha. Go ahead -- try to touch my mouse.  Make their day.
Meanwhile, PigPig is pretty on pink (tissues).  (Me, not so pretty during these days of the plague.)
Which reminds me, Lil' Gal is *starting* to get the hang of jokes:
What did the pig say to the oink?
Don't pig me out!

8/04 - Martha sings, "How much is that cookie in the window?"

Martha (formerly known as "Doggie") and I found the city to be very cold and foggy today.  Brrrr!

Takin' the train...

At lunch, she sang, "How much is that cookie in the window?"  We got salad, even though Dana suggested the excellent idea of having cookies for lunch...
