Every day, my 12th grade twins give me a toy to bring to work. I send home pictures of how the toy is "helping" me, and then save them to this blog. (OK, obviously, we are not really doing this anymore. Teenagers, amiright?) It definitely makes work more fun. For me -- I can't speak for the poor toy. Please do not use any of my images or writing without contacting me for permission.

7/11 - Funbo finds a sign of the times
This is usually a “Next Bus” computer sign that tells people when the next bus will arrive. I guess it is broken...
At lunch, Funbo went motorcycle counting. How many do you see? Which one is your favorite? Do you recognize any of the parking space numbers on the ground?
I had to sit out today's derby practice (and last night's scrimmage) due to an injury from Monday's practice. Still, I felt bad for the grrrls that had to skate in the 103-degree heat, so I brought orange slices. Here's Mandaryn Crush enjoying her mandarin.

7/10 - PigPig and legs over easy
PigPig asked this gymnast what he was doing. She pointed out that the limbo should be done UNDER the pole…
Look how nice my birthday pictures look at my desk! PigPig approves, and they make me smile. :)
PigPig tried to squeal on Ashley. She squealed, “Look! Ashley’s away from her desk and out to lunch!” But Ashley just smiled. She was far enough from work that nobody would hear all that oinking…
Speaking of work... PigPig and I are NOT happy with work computer and/or Microsoft.

7/08 - Weekend fun: Water fun edition
This weekend was all about water... On Saturday, we went to the lake and learned about low water levels.
On Sunday, we went first to the track and I finally passed my roller derby skills assessments! I did the 25 (laps) in 5 (minutes) in 4:47. Booya!!!
Then, Honey BasHer and I took our collective derby kids to the water park. They left after a while, but we stayed pretty much all day.
Then we went home for dinner and cupcakes to celebrate my birthday.

7/03 - Eggyface appreciates art
This painting is in the lobby of my work building. Eggyface thought it might a painting of a famous egg, but Olga (the security guard) was on her rounds so we couldn’t ask.
Eggyface was so happy to find these bouncy rubber band balls. They started boinging all over the place. (Not really, but wouldn’t that have been fun?)

7/01 - Weekend fun: County fair edition
This weekend, we went to the county fair. The traditional 4th of July fog cooled it down and made it quite pleasant fair weather!
Of course, we had to have cotton candy...
I wanted to pose in front of one of the many "deep fried something on a stick" stands. This year, I saw posters for deep fried: watermelon, Oreos, fruit loops, pineapple upside down cake, as well as the usual corn on the cob, Twinkies, etc.
So many cute pigs to pet!
Milking a virtual cow...
And zooming around on fast kid rides. Vroom!! See ya next year, county fair!
(Special thanks to David and Joanne for being my helpers!)
