Batman and I saw a serious grey cloud at the train station this morning. (Yes! We went into work!)
At lunch, we saw the fire boat and a cloud that looked like an elephant.
Finally, Batman and I salute the real heroes. Yep, that would be the *other* folks in uniform. We thank them for all that they have done, are doing, and will do.
Every day, my 12th grade twins give me a toy to bring to work. I send home pictures of how the toy is "helping" me, and then save them to this blog. (OK, obviously, we are not really doing this anymore. Teenagers, amiright?) It definitely makes work more fun. For me -- I can't speak for the poor toy. Please do not use any of my images or writing without contacting me for permission.

5/27 - The Rainy Day Gang
Needing a break from PowerPoint heck (and a refill on my coffee), I stepped into the kitchen.
The Rainy Day Gang assured me they had my back.
Linda was convinced one of the Gang was (old skool) Pooh Bear. It got heated, but this mug shot convinced her it was one of the fierce Armadillo Twins.

5/24 - G-O spells go!
Poor Moo Moo. We've been on overlapping conference calls since 9:30am and are tethered to the phone and PC. Please send breakfast! Or lunch! Calls don't end til 3:30!
The killer is that our office is RIGHT NEXT to the kitchen!
Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I just realized that the magnetic letters the twins left on my desk spell a word. When I showed them, Lil' Guy said "That's because we want you to go." Go where? "To your meeting. Outside." (with them, presumably)

5/20 - Buster and the moment of Zen
OK, who's sick of Mommy working from home? Raise your hands. Now. Who's sick of Mommy being sick? Me too. This blog needs to get out more.
One can see this plant from my desk at home. Buster went for a closer look. He promised me it was Zen-related and not at all doggie business-related. Good boy.

Here's a little friend we saw on the side of the house this morning.

5/14 - Pulmonary Piglet
Piglet helped me be brave for my breathing tests today. The P-P-Pulmonary tester (hi!) thought we were silly.
The twins brought these P-P-pinkies back from a walk (with Mama) for me for "Just Because I Love You Day." Awwww.

5/13 - The conference call fairy
It was magic! The call ended 30 minutes early and I didn't get assigned any Action Items!
Thank you, Tinkerbell!

5/12 - Froggie went a-writin'
Froggie went a-writin'
and he did write
Mmm hmm.
Mmm hmm.
Random non-toy commentary alert!
We got a different brand of night time pull-ups for the kids, and you have to wonder what the designers were thinking.
Boy pull-up = MOTORCROSS! OK, I'll play along. I can see the appeal.
But the girl pull-up? Lipstick and perfume and "love." For my preschooler? Um, no thank you.

5/05 - Piglet and Roo and the Very Big Pen
Mama rushed to get the twins out of the house in time for my 10am meeting, which was, of course, cancelled at 10:04. Nonetheless, I still had 2 small but able helpers. Don't they look eager? Take a note, boys!

5/04 - Flowery notes
Lil' Gal picked these flowers for me at the school yard today. Awwww.
That afternoon, she got a big time-out for pulling all the leaves of my new succulent. Bad Lil' Gal!

5/03 - Magnifying Glass takes a closer look at the news
I worked from home today for the first time in 3 weeks. Overall, it went well, but I found that as I got more into it, my heart rate and breathing got a lot faster. Must... take... things... slowly...
Lil' Gal gave me Magnifying Glass to keep me company at my desk. Together, we took a deeper look at celebrity gossip. RIP, Lynn Redgrave. :(

4/29 - Buster and Roo are on board
Buster and Roo took a ride around the study while Mama and I wheezed and the twins ran circles around us.
