9/30 - Goblin takes a number

Goblin and I found some hearts at the train station.  Awwww.  Our commute loves us.

Number time! What numbers do you see?

Can you guess? It's 2!  And 3!

9/29 - Snakie and Centipede do the wiggle

Snakie and Centipede tried to show Pen how to be wiggly, but it didn't go so well. (Plus, Pen was facing the wrong way.  Oops.)

Later, Snakie took time to smell the flowers.  Mmmmm.

9/28 - Hunter talks the good stuff

Hunter (aka Sppoky Guy) didn't have to look far to find some sunshine today.  It's finally summer in the city!

We went to the taco truck to grab lunch.  We were #19:  super veggie burrito with green salsa.  Que rico!

[Side note:  Hunter used to be my "parking reaper" and lived in my car until the kids comandeered him.]

9/27 - Lunch Box, home delivery

Lil' Gal packed me a lunch today and was really excited about me taking it in to eat at my desk.  Soooo cute!

Sadly, Mama needed a sick day, so I stayed home to help out.  (I did put Lunch Box on my desk at home!)

9/24 - Littlest Monkey hangs out

Littlest Monkey thought this tape dispenser was his new friend.  Awwww.

The City had a wonderful "summer" day today.  Littlest Monkey found a nice flower and was just hanging out.

9/23 - Water Buffalo is the center of attention

Water Buffalo inspected a digger.  Maybe he's wondering if it will dig up some water...

We had lunch with Michael and the Ashleys today.  It was a nice sunny day, and we were soooo happy to get outside!  Thanks to Ashley D for the ransom -- er, lunch!

9/22 - Captain commands the HMS Salad

Poor Captain hasn't had much to do today while I've been in meetings, so he got a little antsy and tried to sail my salad away.

(Side commentary:  Slim pickins at the cafeteria salad bar today.  No wonder he's not getting anywhere.)

9/21 - Flaposaurus finds a robot

OK, so it wasn't a real robot -- just a picture.  But she was still very interesting. (Ask Mama to tell you what "juxtaposition" means.)

Bob wanted to fit in at my cube (there *is* a dress code, ya know!), so we made him a little costume.  Now he wants to build a pirate ship!

9/20 - Blue Dino spaces out

I won a prize at work for doing a good job!  I get to keep Bob the Builder at my desk until our next big meeting.  (Then he'll go to somebody else.)

Look who's on his head!  It's Blue Dino!

Later, Blue Dino got tired of typing and just took a little rest on my keyboard.  Do you know any of these letters?

9/19 - Memorial for That Silly Doug

Froggy and I went to the memorial service for That Silly Doug today.  We all gathered at Ocean Beach on a surprisingly warm, humid day to hear stories from Doug's good friends. We left to the sound of a kilted bagpiper, standing by the base of the cliffs.

We re-gathered at the Presidio Social Club for a great party.  The only thing missing was Doug mingling, giving out hugs, and making sure people had what they needed.  And as much as we felt Doug's presence, we also keenly felt his absence.

I don't know about anyone else, but I choose to believe that Doug is on a big road trip, living life to the fullest, eating all the good local foods, driving with the top down and the wind in his hair. Never looking back, but carrying all those dear to him in his heart as he speeds along to new adventures.  Go, Diego, go.

9/18 - Holy blue balls, Batman!

We're back from our wonderful vacation, where I took way more pictures of people than small toys.  It was a nice break.

I got to sleep in this morning, and when I woke up, I found Batman sporting some --um-- new accessories, and had to share them with you all.

9/09 - Rosa and the Very Long List

We are on vacation!  Posts will be sporadic for the next week, if all goes well.  Here, Rosa is helping me cross things off our list.

9/08 - Milky finds fog and construction

It was foggier at home than it is in the city!  How strange is that?

They are still working on the pipes in the street by my work.   Milky says "woof!"

Later, Milky made a pirate friend -- a present from Linda and her lovely sister Sharon.

9/07 - Buster and the paper of color

Buster wanted to do some art, so we checked out the paper options in the copy room.  (Those are Linda's guest fingers!)

The rest of the day was all meetings and need-it-right-now stuff.  Ick.

(Dr. Suess: "Hop on Pop")

9/06 - Yay for 3-day weekends

Happy Labor Day!  Hope you have the day off, or at least that it's a meeting-free day.

9/03 - Beaker is on fire!

When I put Beaker in my jacket pocket this morning, he started squeaking.  "Meep!  Meep!  Meep!"  Pooh Bear was still in my pocket from the other day!  Poor Pooh!  Now they are both with me at work, enjoying non-stop meetings.  Bother.

Here's a fun poster we saw on the way into work.  I'm calling it "BART ART."

Later, Beaker was on fire.  No, actually it was my mouth that was on fire...  I thought I was lucky when a meeting got cancelled so I could get lunch before 2:30pm today, but then they made my noodles spicy. I did not ask for spicy!  Youch!

9/02 - Quadruple-Decker Santa Heads say "Ho ho ho, whoa!"

The Santas wanted to help me write down a list.  They were very wobbly on the top of my pencil!  Whoooooaaaaaaa!!

Look what we found in the copy room!  Red and white paper stacks -- just like QDSH!  Ho ho ho ho!

9/01 - Pooh and the penguin parade

My silly phone is not sending the pictures to my computer like it's supposed to!  We took this picture in the morning, but it's just now arriving.  Oh, bother.

Michael's friend Tullyger wanted to meet Pooh.  And so he did.
